It doesn't. The growth is the same. The perceived difference is because the ends of the hair are straight and uniform rather than all raggedy. People have been asking this for years and have been hearing this answer for years but for some reason keep asking the same question over and over.

This was back in the 80s. Best I recall, all expenses totaled something like 16000 for the first year. But remember, in the 80s tuition prices were increasing so fast it would make your head spin,

I'm not policing it. I'm saying it's wrong. I can do that and I did do that. If you think that's policing, I don't have any idea what to tell you.

Actually, the critical way to think about this is to keep the subject on UFOs not to change it. That is why the name has been changed from UFO to UAP.

[-] philo@lemmy.ca 3 points 5 days ago

Yes, and I know that most people are not critical thinkers.

[-] philo@lemmy.ca 6 points 5 days ago

UFOs are real and I've known that since I was a child. I am surprised that NPR involves itself with this bullshit article though. The U stands for UNIDENTIFIED and if they are claiming they are alien, that would mean they have been identified and are not UFOs.

Please answer the question in the title. I'd really like to know. I was recently in the hospital for a few days and was sad to see that although the subscriber numbers here kept increasing, nobody was posting any challenges. So Please tell me what is the point of a game if nobody wants to participate?

answerComfortably Numb by Pink Floyd

There is no pain, you are receding A distant ship smoke on the horizon You are only coming through in waves Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I had a fever My hands felt just like two balloons Now I've got that feeling once again I can't explain, you would not understand This is not how I am I have become comfortably numb
