Same thing happens to me with an Xbox controller plugged into my PC with a USB cable. If it goes to sleep, I need to restart the game to use it again. And sometimes it suddenly stops working and sends a constant "analog stick down" command until I unplug it (which means I can't use it anymore lol)

On the other, I've lived in buildings with AirBnBs and they're a scourge. The owners and renters of short term rental properties are mostly (not all) awful - residents should be owning property, not spoiled rich landlords eating up space for tourists. Fuck AirBnB.

I also visited Spain last month and I've never felt so unwelcomed in my life while in Barcelona and would never go back, so I guess the anti-tourism is working 😂

I did notice that the only people not opting for WFH/hybrid at my last job were all the married-with-kids types who hated being around their family and used work as an escape. It was really sad to see lol

Funnily enough I heard that internally they were talking about asking to have me come back as a contractor (with insane pay) but I was so much enjoying my time away from such a toxic company that nothing could make me return. I took a 7-month staycation after quitting just to unfuck how much they fucked up my brain, self-worth, and anxiety

Joke's on them, I quit my 11-year job with a company enacting RTO and it fucked them over because I had no backups and very little cross training my entire time there. Ex-employees have told me things went to shit after I left. Good. 😂
