Mind if I do a J?

My money, should it get overturned, would be on the fact that Trump hasn't been convicted of any treason. I believe this was pointed out in the dissenting opinion in the CO case.

My guess (not a lawyer, and want Trump out as much as the next guy) but perhaps the "longshot" more refers to the fact that he hasn't been found guilty of treason (yet[?]).

Which, again, not being a lawyer, seems like reasonable people could take issue with that. Yes, we all know he did treasonous things, and he will hopefully be convicted of those things. But AFAIK he is not currently guilty in the eyes of the law.

That said: reading the amendment, it spells out insurrection (again: does this mean charged with a crime?) but also mentions "given aid or comfort" to enemies (of the US). I don't think that is a crime, which is a good thing (?) because it means that the 14th amendment kinda says, "yeah even if you're cozy with insurrectionists but didn't do an insurrection yourself, GTFO." Or something. Again

clearly not a lawyer...

I wonder if Linux meaning basically either GNU/Linux or Android is becoming a bit antiquated

perhaps there should be a third option here for Ubuntu (and any similar centralized distro)?

There was a comment elsewhere about how the motivation here likely isn't EEE, but rather antitrust related ("See, we're not a monopoly! Any company can join the fun!").

The number of fediverse users pales in comparison to the users of the non-federated platforms (read: we're not worth the effort), and we form a pretty intentional community that won't likely be enticed by the "corporate instances" anyway.

Maybe I'm being naive here but I really don't think it's an issue. There are enough of us who will never join a Meta-run instance that I don't see the EEE playbook working here.

I think it largely depends on the specific example you're looking at, so a one size fits all answer isn't really feasible.

To make matters worse, guitar amplifiers can have astronomical gain on the dirty channels, so any noise considerations are further exacerbated.

Also, just think how silly Hendrix would have looked with a tiny guitar cable.

atan2, on the other hand, is just awesome.

Lot of folks here making the "nothing to hide? Great show me your browsing history" type arguments.

I think this isn't really arguing in good faith. There's a big difference between a personal friend knowing something about you, and a faceless algorithm knowing something about you. The two cases are different; it's fair to argue about how one is better or worse, but they are different.

Not only that, but Google Photos already pulled a huge bait-and-switch. It used to be free unlimited photo storage for compressed photos...until they just stopped.

I love immich!
