Germany's Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul says the occasion is wrong to proclaim a sovereign Palestinian state, and that such a decision would send a "wrong signal”.

German automakers became the latest to warn that China's export restrictions threaten to shut down production and rattle their local economies, following a similar complaint from an Indian EV maker last week

China's decision in April to suspend exports of a wide range of critical minerals and magnets has upended the supply chains central to automakers, aerospace manufacturers, semiconductor companies and military contractors around the world.

Diplomats, automakers and other executives from India, Japan and Europe were urgently seeking meetings with Beijing officials to push for faster approval of rare earth magnet exports

More than a million EU citizens are pressuring the Commission to ban conversion therapies – but the path to a ban is anything but straight.

Conversion therapy, condemned by UN experts as a form of “torture,” encompasses practices that aim to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity – typically from non-heterosexual to heterosexual – through psychoanalysis or other methods. A 2024 study by the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) found that 2% of LGBTQ individuals had been subjected to conversion attempts, and 5% had been offered such “therapies.”

Currently, only seven EU countries – including France, Germany, and Belgium – have enacted partial or complete bans. Elsewhere, the practice remains legal or poorly regulated.

It doesn't seem to be a full system update but a SmartThings Framework update that caused the issue.

One of the travel vlogger the article quoted went out of his way and accidentally stumbled into a military site. Perhaps you should watch his series to judge for yourself.

costs me a tenth of what petrol does.

This is the reason why most people would want to switch to EVs. The total running cost in the long run is significantly lower.

You are comparing apples to oranges here since this is an LFP battery while the Tesla 4680 isn't.

The 5 year battery warranty is good to have. Hopefully it forces other OEMs to do the same.

CCS2 is used in most parts of the world as well.

I am fairly certain you could charge any EVs with the Tesla supercharger in most parts of the world. Perhaps it's just a US thing where it's limited to just Tesla vehicles.

It's a badge engineered Deepal SL03 so I don't think Mazda can have too much flexibility in changing the car.

There are Chinese EV taxis and buses in Singapore service for over five years since their introduction.

I believe there are already people doing something like that.
