I see the lack of pre-installed google apps as a bonus.

Technically Volvo and polestar are Chinese owned brands selling made in China EVs in the US.

I don't think there will be more as the US will do protectionist measures if they or other Chinese EVs become too successful.

I suppose the dealer knows an EV would result in them earning a lower profit from the lack of servicing required.

A Honda fit is just USD $12000 in China. Its just cars where you are from are overpriced.

This under $25k EV has been "teased” for so long that it's probably going the way of the hyperloop.

Here is an article about said budget Tesla from 4 years ago.

Considering even Tesla's cars in China is of higher quality then the same model build in the US. I am inclined to doubt the quality of electric vehicles not built in China.

Depends on where you're from and how competitive the EV market is.

In Europe you can get a citroen e-C3 for $24,500

In china you can get a EV for under $5000

Don't people usually flash a custom rom when they unlock their bootloader? Somehow if you are still on the stock rom can't you just flash the update since you have already unlocked the bootloader?

Maybe you can consider using a computer monitor as a tv if you can find one large enough.
