No, but they don't have a militant army of petty bourgeoisie pointing to the 2nd Amendment of their own Constitutions or similar documents, and have been able and willing to ban or heavily regulate ownership of firearms.

I don't agree with the United States' gun freedoms, but I also don't have the power to change them myself.

Wholly agreed. The NRC recommendations are ridiculously excessive and are blocking the actual creation of nuclear power plants, which are going to become more and more necessary.

This is the sort of stuff which actually can help people.

I'm just waiting for "oops we irradiated the Mississippi River" to happen at this point. When are they actually going to address the issue?

Do you think that young people, the powerhouse of any state economy, are willing to stay in Missouri with this ridiculous Republican bullshit?

Just because it doesn't impact you, doesn't mean it isn't real.

Stop by Usinger's in Milwaukee and grab some head cheese. THAT'S pushing the limits of trust.

I'm gonna have to cast doubt on this. They aren't going down without a fight; chances are even if Oneida Co kicks them out, they'll be back in another iteration somewhere else.

True, but it's mostly replaced coal generation, with at least one major coal plant that I'm aware of (PPPP in Kenosha County) being completely shuttered and demolished in the last decade. Natural gas generation isn't clean or carbon-neutral, but it produces significantly less carbon emissions than coal.

True, but that housing supply will be gobbled up by out of state investment buyers and pushed out of affordable range for actual homebuyers without something being done to block them.

She needs to be reelected next year. I don't think Wisconsin can survive without her efforts.
