Yeah I did unfortunately...hence the recommendation for a way to do it all yourself. Though I have no idea what was involved in your various appointments so maybe it's not a feasible option.

And if recording isn't allowed, bring a notebook and pen. I frequently take notes at the doctor's because I don’t trust myself to remember all the important bits later.

I know this probably isn't the right place to post this but I'm not sure where the right place is. I haven't been able to sort comments by old for over a week. Is this a server wide issue or just a me issue? Any advice about how to tell or where I should ask this question is appreciated.

I finally made my way back into the Jerboa app instead of using my mobile browser, only to discover I had messages...Thank you. I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone and contribute. Your encouragement helps :)

I think that context is really important. I've mostly seen this term used by neurodivergent people when expressing frustration with not being understood by the general populace. Also, these conversations were usually in spaces created by and for neurodivergent people, so the use of normie to indicate everyone else makes sense to me. In that context, it always comes across as kind of self-deprecating to me, an acknowledgement that the person speaking isn't considered normal because of their condition.

Based on the context you've described, I'm not surprised you don't like the term. If that was were I first encountered it I wouldn't like it either.

I find I'm having the opposite problem with social anxiety. I feel like I'll be seen here and it's making it difficult to comment. Though since I just made my account last night and this is my first comment, I guess I'm being active much sooner. I didn't leave a comment on reddit for months after making an account...
