can you imagine, light infantry unit composed entirely of middle managers

120mm containers would be more common because it's one shot per one box vs a couple at closer ranges for MACS. neither proves anything other than "there was military activity there" which is already known

155mm projectiles are screwed into a plank with a transport plug and loaded into a pallet this way, with fuzes shipped separately in a box

[-] skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de 11 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

155mm propellant (MACS) which means it could be anywhere in range of 40km from impact. the closer it is, the less strain is put on howitzer barrels, less charges are used and accuracy goes up a bit

that, or a tank round container. MACS container should have markings 1.3C, 1.2E makes more sense for a tank round. in which case it was where tank crews reloaded, so close to their supply point, and not where they went out to

If they stayed in army, they're probably dead by now. From fragments and bullets, not from radiation. Doses possible for them to absorb were much less than immediately harmful, but you could get out by claiming nausea (early symptom of radiation poisoning)

citric acid can also chelate iron to some degree so on acid basis citric acid should dissolve rust a bit better than most. but coke is made with phosphoric acid which doesn't do that

[-] skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 6 hours ago

i don't think that they think that everyone else has as much agency as they do (and it's kinda true, but not because of npc world, but because they're rich fucks with too much time to waste)

also, if they had a way they'd make carveouts iq-dependent

[-] skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 23 hours ago

No. At any rate it would be instance-dependent whether it is enabled or not, if it were an option that is, and probably it would fail to federate properly for first half year

[-] skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de 29 points 1 day ago

yes you can. dutch police and probably some others trained eagles to take down drones, but project was shelved because of lack of interest

Flight path of a plane that took off from Damascus shorty after news broke that Assad left the city towards unknown destination, which might have been Latakia on Syrian coast which is still under SAA control as of now. Terrain in place where flightradar stopped tracking that plane isn't especially suited for emergency landing

Shortly after crash Syrian Army Command informs officers about fall of the regime https://xcancel.com/Alhadath_Brk/status/1865587913817305454#m

update: it's not spoofed transponder data or controlled landing, locals reported plane crash in the area. rumors so far, but dawn will break soon in Syria and we'll know https://xcancel.com/Schizointel/status/1865593800678130081#m

clarification: there's some chance that Assad went out of Damascus before on other, private jet, so it's not sure and it's all conjecture on unproven information

update 2: there's a claim by Russian media that Assad is in Moscow, so he would have to flee on some earlier plane, but no photos as of now. Still, looked mildly credible at the time
