yeah, any comment that can be auto-generated doesn't need to be there in the first place. The real issue might be overly-dogmatic comment/docstring requirements

call me crazy but I feel like banning masks is just as bad as mandating them

That said, being a "fan" of either company over the other is pretty cringe. When you're getting a new CPU, just go with whoever's got the best stuff this generation
