Mocking and dependency injection don't seem to be mutually exclusive, if anything dependency injection can make it easier to get the component you're texting to interface with the mock
Tankies aren't the only ones who call for revolution tbf. There are revolutionary anarchists as well. "Tankie" has usually been used to describe auth-lefties in particular.

His hype was otherworldly. I honestly think it outstripped his own efforts and became a cultural thing, probably affected his own self-perception to no small degree... Now here we are.
