I stopped using a case a few years ago since they always felt too bulky.
I just started going without a screen protector a few weeks ago too since I hardly drop my phone and when I have, a screen protector wouldn't have saved me from the small damage it inflicted.
Aside from a little paint scratched off from a corner (phone flew out of my pocket when I jumped while wearing some baggy shorts a few months ago), it's been going great. ๐
No protection plan or extended warranty or anything of that sort.
If I remember correctly, these are based on the Stack Overflow Documentation Project that had shutdown back in 2017. Documentation on frameworks or tools that aren't changing as frequently are probably still relevant today, but given how fast things move in some industries (e.g., web frameworks, mobile), some of it is likely becoming too dated to be useful.
