I had an Oliebol last weekend. It’s basically a ball of fried dough (with raisins in my case) covered in powdered sugar.

They’re a Dutch seasonal thing, traditionally eaten on new year’s eve.

Samurai Jack, though not really from growing up.. (Then again, when do we ever stop growing up? :)

It had great stories and beautiful artwork. But to an adult eye it was obvious that all those "robots" were there to keep it kid friendly.
All that oil was a clear stand-in for tons and tons of blood.

It was so annoying to create this ostrich, for some reason whenever a knight is sitting on something, the animal immediately gets a minimum of three legs.
Also, for those who actually know Latin, I just pushed "joust" through Google translate. I have no idea if this is correct or not :)

The main seat of the Utrecht public library is 132 years old and used to be a postal office.

I really love the architecture, the main hall always impresses me whenever I visit.

This is the vantage point from where I took the photo, helpfully highlighted by the halo :)

Edit: I’m an idiot who can’t read critically. The institute of the Utrecht library is 132 years old. The old post office building is exactly 100 years old.
