I'm not sure what caused your problem, but I can tell you that I am using the Venstar integration with https, and it works fine for me. With that in mind, have you tried removing the thermostat from home assistant entirely, and then adding it back fresh?

Don't you think people just mean that it feels like a Mario game at the same time as feeling fresh? That's certainly how I felt. It's "innovative" in the sense that there are things that you didn't expect, and that's fun and exciting. I could be wrong, but I don't think anybody means "innovative" in that it's ground-breaking in the larger gaming world or even in the platforming genre.

Any SATA or SAS drive should work just fine. If you need some hot swap caddies, you can buy them fairly cheap on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=dell+t320+drive+caddy

I've personally used the WorkDone brand caddies, and they are perfectly usable!

edit: I'm fairly certain it doesn't support four 3.5 AND eight 2.5... the form factor supported depends on the backplane that's installed. Also know that the backplane physically supports double that number of hard drives... you'd just need an HBA card with two internal ports. See this list for some options: (https://forums.serverbuilds.net/t/official-recommended-sas2-hba-internal-external/4581)

I'm not sure why the origin of the question should matter... if it's getting engagement here, then it's all good!

Is there not a native Nextcloud app for your tablet?

[-] tko@tkohhh.social 6 points 11 months ago

That doesn't make any sense... the fact that it's only used in part of the world makes it even more useful for the bot to define it.

My Reolink cameras are firewalled from communicating with the internet, so I can confirm that they function fine without cloud access.

Loans are different from lines of credit... loans don't have an "available credit" associated with them. The reason your score might go down when you pay off student loan is because you're reducing the number of open accounts you have, and also possibly reducing the diversity of accounts (lines of credit vs. installment loans).

Disclaimer: I'm not saying this is a good system, just explaining how it works.

I like my Venstar Explorer Minis. They have both a local API and cloud, both of which can be disabled independently (so you can have local ON and cloud OFF).

I got this comment on another thread that answers my question:

@Gaywallet@beehaw.org

The following people get a report when content is reported:

The community of the reported content

The instance administrator for the community of the reported content

The instance administrator for the person who reported the content

The instance administrator for the person who was reported

This makes my queue a mess at times, especially because federation is not instant and many apps cache content. I’ve had people on Beehaw report content on Beehaw that was already removed hours ago. When someone spams a bunch of content across communities on the fediverse (such as today with a prolific spammer) we can sometimes have dozens of reports for the same user because of all the reports generated above.

No, it's more that there's a problem with the wires or the solder points. Since you said you messed around with the wires quite a bit without any impact, it could be that the short is in the solder points either in the buds or in the plug.
