In the last panel the guy has his hand planted down in an open book, and near his hand on the page is the word "spider" and a drawing of a spider.

This doesn't make any sense. The dad's response can't come first because it's supposed to be a response to her saying "I'm dying" and him comedically misinterpreting it.

But her response can't come first because she already identifies him as dad which makes his introduction as dad not make sense, and also because she asks him to stop as if he already made his joke.

It's as if the text is dropping us in after the setup just so we can laugh at the punchline but then they also have her respond to the punchline with a reference to the setup in case we didn't get it. But anyone who doesn't get the joke (because it's a reference to a joke, not a joke) isn't going to get the joke from this little dialogue because it doesn't even make sense as a dialogue.

It can still cut into profits even if it isn't scalable to being a full solution and it is still worth it for consumers even if it can't be worth it for every consumer.

All this can still be true even if "lab grow all meats. problem solved" is not true (or at least not possible, even if it is a logically valid construction).

yeah I think the extra ammonia and hydrogen gas emitted from the nitrogen fixation process fucks with the regular breakdown of sugars to make more CH4 instead of CO2.

The products of the nitrogen fixation make the environment inside the stomach less aerobic so you end up with the anaerobic breakdown of sugars.

Forgive me if it's obvious, but what does "waves their share" mean?

My understanding is that the laws about getting in trouble for accessing something on a computer are basically "if they didn't intend for your to access it and you access it then that's all that is needed for you to get in trouble."

It's basically right up to the line of making a hyperlink that says "oops this was a mistake to hyperlink this, please don't click on this link we did not intend for this to be linked" and if you click that link then you are illegally hacking.

People in Florida got in trouble for accessing COVID data that was just "hidden" in the non-displayed html of some government webpage. The way they "hacked" the data was by pressing Ctrl+U to view the source of the public page.
