Meanwhile my job as a phone jockey went from 500 employees to no hiring for 4 years to now 212 employees and calls are back to back with no hope of new job openings... also makes seniority rough as everyone is a veteran at this point.

Problem is the wait lists. Cosmere books in my area are on an approximate 18wk wait. Audiobooks nearly double.

If Federal employees can be mass fired, then they should be able to strike. You can't claim they're too important to the cogs of the machine and claim they aren't at the same time.

Let's not bring Elon into this.

Yeah I had a friend from Grenada that told me this one day and I had trouble understanding the reasoning.

This is the reason he will be ignored. He has more money, but wouldn't be willing to spend it. Israel gets some it back with military deals, he wouldn't.

Yeah I recently switched from cable to fiber (finally available), and prior I was using an old as fuck modem/router that capped at 500Mbps. My internet at fastest was 380. I rarely transfer files over the network, so figured why bother? (I did have Gen1 Google Mesh though to cover dead spots). I had a bit of a shopping splurge when I got fiber. Nothing crazy, just an upgraded mesh and a switch (Why the fuck does Frontier provide an ONT with 8 ethernet ports but only one is active?)

If a company becomes too large to manage and kits subsidiaries make individual profits, some making profit and others at a loss, you divest. You sell off the crap companies. Makes sense to me. They say Trump wants to run the US like a business, right?

Yeah that whole Lot plotline is pretty crazy.

Maybe he had back arthritis or similar conditions? If he was an old surgeon I'm sure 8+ hours a day bent over wasn't kind to the core muscles and skeleton. As for intelligence, nobody is all knowing. Everyone has specialized knowledge, and few try to learn outside their interests. But yeah, learning basic pc skills is kinda important.

Every day I am amazed. Carlin is proven more accurate day after day.

Not 100% in this one. I live in WV, USA. I want a second opinion, since the leaves on this are larger than what my PlantNet shows it is. I wont say what so no bias. It popped up and isn't a native.

Slowly all my favorite Ridiot haunts are coming here. I'm so happy.

First. :) Come thither my fellow Reddit pariahs.
