I use it regularly to:
- generate docstrings
- write simple unit tests
- generate change logs
- generate PR descriptions
Basically all the things that used to be the "slog" part of the job. It frees me up to do the fun stuff like over-engineer, introduce bugs, and create tech debt.
I settled on herbstluft in I think around 2015 and 10 years later have still never felt the need to migrate anywhere else.
