Their pick in 2027 is only top 2 protected though so have to imagine they start trying to win next year.

Kyrie has a PO after next season so figure we’ll see him moved either this offseason or at the deadline too

Guess at least the Pelicans still have most of their picks despite stupidly trading this years.

Zion is on track to have his 2nd healthiest year yet too, not sure what that says about the rest of the roster though if they’re still this bad.

Now that they’ve decided to rebuild it will be interesting to see where Morant goes.

Based on the JJJ trade it looks like they’re going to push to actually win games next year so we’ll see how good they can be with Lauri and JJJ given how tough the west is.

If I’m understanding right Houston can swap picks with the Nets next year so they won’t have an incentive to tank.

Could be why they kept MPJ who had a good year last year.

Seems like they’re going to make a playoff push next year with the trades for AD and Young. I think they have a good shot especially in the east if AD is reasonably healthy.

For real. Respectfully I would like to ask: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! This man was a 7’6” god among mere mortals, absolutely dominating the NBA and single-handedly yanked the China market into basketball’s orbit. Nineteen points, nine rebounds, blocking shots like only YAO could AND NOW? Silence.

It’s like everyone forgot Yao. Is it because his career was short by injuries? Pathetic. We celebrate guys who barely sniffed the level Yao was at, but Yao? Gone from the conversation. Are we that short-sighted? That fickle?!

We should be talking about him every day. We should be building shrines. Instead, we sit in this abyss of disrespect, pretending like he never shifted the ENTIRE landscape of the game.

No longer allowing a team to pick in the top four in consecutive years and/or after consecutive bottom-three finishes
