But at the end of the day I want to do anything I can to help people find shows they can love. If that means helping this group get off the ground tell me what to do. If it means this becomes a repository for linking people to more popular fediverse things that's cool too. I know there are many "medieval" shows, but I want the fantasy element included also. So no The Kingdom type shows.

Ok so let’s start off by saying that I am not an expert in all things TV. I have no formal ‘critic’ training. But you know what? I know what I like. And I like the Knick.

For those who aren’t familiar with the show, it’s about a fictional hospital in NYC called The Knickerbocker, right at the turn of the 20th century. The show tackles various social issues, medical advancements, and inventions that are emerging.

I think the acting is very well done. I think the set designs and costumes are done accurately. Without spoiling anything, something I really like is that the background music doesn’t really fit the time period. It’s hard to explain but makes sense when you watch it. Lastly, the show ended after only two seasons so it never had a chance to become bad.
