To keep up with Elon Musk’s Starlink and the U.S., China plans to launch thousands of broadband satellites into low-Earth orbit. Of the roughly 8,000 functioning satellites in orbit, about 55% belong to SpaceX’s Starlink. China is making strides as more satellite companies like SatNet are getting more funding and making advancements.

WSJ explores how broadband satellites work and whether China can secure its spot in a crowded stretch of space.

Ralph Langner provides the most detailed presentation of the Stuxnet S7 code. He goes through the key Function Codes and Data Blocks in detail and shows how it matches to the Natanz facility. You see Ralph's teams comments throughout the Stuxnet code, and the level of detailed analysis.

This performance from S4x12 is a great example of the technical detail we look for in a Stage 2: Technical Deep Dive Session. The beauty of Ralph's presentation

Around the world, craftspeople have devoted themselves to the pursuit of perfection — like a historical enthusiast in Tunisia who painstakingly revived an extinct purple dye, or a master iron forger in Japan who runs a 100-year-old workshop. The highest level of mastery is only achieved through an artisan's lifelong dedication to their craft.

The PFAS Cover-up (www.youtube.com)

In the ‘PFAS Cover-up’ Zembla uncovers what PFAS-producers Dupont and 3M knew of the dangers of their chemicals.

Based on hundreds of internal company documents, Zembla reveals that Dupont knew for decades that the PFAS they used were dangerous and were spreading throughout the environment. Confidential memo’s, meeting reports and handwritten notes show that, going back as far as the early 60’s, the industry was well aware of the risks its invention posed for human health and the environment. Shockingly, the primary concern voiced in Dupont's files was the firm's own wellbeing: maintaining profits and avoiding legal liability.

What Happened To Skype (www.youtube.com)

At its height, Skype – a telecommunications app founded by Scandinavian entrepreneurs Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, and Estonian engineers Ahti Heinla, Priit Kasesalu, Jaan Tallinn and Toivo Annus – had 560 million registered users. In 2005, just two years after its launch, the app was acquired by eBay. Later, a majority stake was sold to private equity firm Silver Lake. Microsoft then acquired Skype in 2011 for $8.5 billion. While it was revolutionary in its time, Skype’s journey has been full of ups and downs. Now that Microsoft has rival Teams, the future of Skype is uncertain. CNBC explores the company’s past, present and what’s next for the company.

Amsterdam is trialing its most ambitious traffic project yet. They are cutting off car traffic on a major 4-lane arterial road through the city. This has got the right-wingers panties in a bunch, but the trial is still underway. Will this lead to a utopian city or carmageddon?

Here we go again...6 months later after my investigation into CryptoZoo, the victims have not been refunded, or updated on their refund. For context, after threatening to sue me, Logan Paul promised $1.8 million dollars to the affected victims, saying "In the meantime, I have committed more than $1.8M for those who do not want to wait for CryptoZoo to be completed." However, despite bragging about making millions with Prime, there have been no updates about the status of these updates.

New revelations could signal the start of a purge at the top of Russia's military establishment. The Moscow Times and Financial Times report that General Sergei Surovikin has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in Yevgeny Prigozhin and his Wagner group's failed rebellion.

The New York Times also says Surovikin had advance knowledge of Prigozhin’s plans. Josep Borrell, the EU's top diplomat, has warned that, a 'weaker Putin is a greater danger.'

For one long June night and a day, Russia's notorious Wagner mercenary leader and key player in the Ukraine war, Yevgeny Prigozhin, staged an apparent insurrection. He sent an armoured convoy towards Moscow and raised questions about Vladimir Putin's grip on power.

The Russian president even accused his former ally of treason, embarking on an armed rebellion and "a stab in the back of our country".

But by the end of Saturday, Prigozhin had called the whole thing off and ordered his men back to base.

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) urged Wagner fighters not to follow their leader Yevgeny Prigozhin's orders and also implored fighters to take measures to detain him, in a statement shared by the Russian state media TASS on Friday.

CNN's Oren Liebermann and Ben Wedeman break down the major development, and CNN's Alex Marquardt discusses with CNN military analyst Ret. Col. Cedric Leighton and Russia expert Dmitri Alperovitch.
