That aspect of project 2025 should just be standard practice for an incoming administration. Why would Biden keep a bunch of trump appointees in place unless that's what he wanted?
What aspect? Getting rid of federal appointees is normal practice because they are understood to be political appointments. Project 2025 says thats not enough and tries to mass purge all the non political employees as well, claiming they're actually political.
There are no non political people working for the federal government appointed by an elected representative.
Dems just don't due it because then people would expect them to do something.
Again, we're not talking about appointees, we're talking about employees, clerks, beureacrats, scientists, regulators etc. You can say that those are all still political but that doesnt matter because you'd be completely missing my point. Neither party will do that because they logistically can't replace that many federal employees. Project 2025 is the NoVA migrant caravan. A total bogeyman designed to scare the shit out of the most diehard democractic party voters by literally threatening their jobs.
If your saying scientists and regulators are non political you've clearly shown you aren't worth talking to.
Classically apolitical things like climate change, our response to covid, and checks notes regulations that limit the power of corporations in favor of people.
Again, if you don't think those people are political you don't understand science or politics.
This is a great example of why republicans rum laps around democrats. Replicas make every employee swear a loyalty oath to advancing the republican agenda and then democrats insist on leaving those people there because "theyre non partisan"
Which is how we ended up with liberals getting completely let down by comey.... and then muller.... and then garland... and every other lifelong republican they've tried to get to do the actual political heavy lifting for them.
I'm not. "Non-political employees" is just a legal definition, but its the alleged rubicon that's got all the liberals shitting themselves because its literally their jobs.
You're trying to argue against a point I'm not making. Please actually read my responses before you go on a rant or find an actual liberal to argue with.
Edit: my man, you already demonstrated that you completely understand and agree with me in this comment chain. But for some reason in this chain you think I'm making a completely different point.
