Interesting, but not all that surprising, that there don't seem to be any long-term plans to go full electric.

Hydrocarbon fuels will probably be part of our world for a very long time. I wonder if F1 will actually be able to make meaningful advances towards widespread adoption of sustainable fuel.

I think this is great. The current hybrid powertrains are so complicated and expensive. Just move to zero carbon e-fuels like Porsche is experimenting with and simpler engines.

Yeah the e-fuels are crazy expensive; but the small volume that F1 would require would still probably be cheaper than the current total costs of all the hybrid stuff.
