Maybe the person you responded to only wished to not learn about the details of shenanigans from shitty people, because news are already depressing enough, and you just hit them with even more negativity.
Everyone can live a happy life without ever learning who Tate is, it's not "sticking one's head in the sand" ; don't be so judgemental.
It's fine to not want news like that but....don't go to a community that posts things that will bum you out.
It's Europe, we could be happy about Europe too haha
