Played through the game a year ago, being interested in the 2d Zelda-esque gameplay.
It's now among my all-time favourites. I still play it from time to time. Really excited for Project Terra!
Very common issue with long games unfortunately. I've done the same with Omori, Hollow Knight, and some others.
I finally managed to play the entirety of Hollow Knight from the beginning though, and will do the same with Omori soon hopefully. I don't think there's a solution for this.
