Your “logic” doesn’t make sense. The point is to stop endlessly killing animals for no other reason than “it tastes good.” You can eat products that taste similar to meat without killing animals (like others have pointed out, that’s the entire goal).

On top of that, most vegans don’t eat tons and tons of fake meat all the time. It’s usually reserved for occasions where we have to fit in to carnivore-centered events like barbecues, etc.

Oh... well, in that case, I guess it's OK. I thought you guys ate that stuff regularly, like every day. Cuz I've tried it and I didn't like most of it... mainly because it was advertised as "compareable in taste to meat", which wasn't true IMO. I mean, if they just marketed it as "soy beans mashed with vegetables in a round form, which you can cook", yeah, I'd probably like it. But saying it tastes similar to meat... ummm, no, I'm sorry, that's just not true.
