The man is 78 years old. He shouldn't be president.

And neither should Biden because he's fucking older!

[-] DannyMac@lemm.ee 14 points 2 months ago

Yup, but we'll have Trump if we don't vote for Biden. We really need to have age limits on who can be president.

[-] Loonesota@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Right? We have an age limit on the lower end at 35 years old minimum, but there's no cap on the other end? It's ridiculous.

It's even more funny because far lower government positions have iron clad retirement ages for example federal correctional officers and probation officers retire at like 55 or 60 because of how stressful the job is.

One of the two will be President in 2025. And I just don't buy the 'Biden is slow because he's older.' In fact, I'm not voting against Trump exclusively. I am actually voting for Biden, and that link is why you should as well.

I'm going to vote for Biden because he's going to be a better president than Trump, but that's still doesn't mean that either one of them should be president.

Retirement age is 65 in America and as low as 55 For various government employees and high stress positions, why should the presidency be any different?
