The crash is not even because of some weird gust of wind or load transfer. He simply placed his wheels on the grass as if he doesn't know how wide the car is and unaware of track layout.
He is clearly in a slump. He drove great for years and somehow it all went to shit this year. Sad to see and I really hope he picks up form soon.
I might just be imagining it, but I feel like he's trying too hard to beat max.
I think this is the correct answer. I think he's overdriving and with that questioning his abilities because Max is so god damn fast.
Plot-twist: Maybe he just wants to retire once and for all and is trying to do the same as Ricciardo with McLaren with some $$$ clause? 🤣
