I can vouch for this, except the ego death bit. I don't super think it's a thing.

You have to take a lot. The ego dissolves mostly during the trip, then returns to having a clear boundary/definition before the trip is over. If it ever happens to you, you’ll understand why they still call it ego “death.” However, anybody walking around saying they no longer have an ego because they did mushrooms is full of shit and have a bigger ego than most people, LOL.

Ego death is sort of a confusing thing and personally when I see people talking about it, I think that everyone sort of has a different type of experience related to it and they just all call it ego death.

I definitely felt like I was going to die on higher doses but I wouldn't say I've had the steriotypical ego death experience either.
