Best coffee roasters in Aotearoa (lemmy.nz)

Interested in hearing what coffee roasters the community recommends. I'm getting into specialty coffee (single origin, roasted for filter brewing), and am keen for recommendations. But also keen to hear about whatever it is that gets you going in the morning.

My favourite roaster at the moment is Rocket Coffee. Their roster of beans is constantly shifting, so you're not necessarily going to get the same coffee every week -- but there's always something interesting and/or absolutely delicious.

They talk about it selling out fast. So I mostly worry that they removed it from the website when it sold out but didn't remove the direct link.

Alternatively they might not have announced the next batch yet. I just ordered 1KG so I will see if it goes through. @cloventt@lemmy.nz said on the previous post not to get a large bag... but I need to make the most of the shipping cost so I've just gone for the big bag. Probably should have got two bags to make the shipping even better.

Edit: Have received confirmation it's being shipped
