I disagree with this post completely. Please read this article if you haven't. Westerners are not gullible little know-nothings that are helplessly caught up in the propaganda. They actively seek it out in order to justify their exploitative way of life.

If propaganda doesnt do anything and people are just the way they are. Why bother doing propaganda? Why fly american warjets over thr superbowl even though it costs an insane amount of money
Obviously propaganda does something, it would be ridiculous to argue otherwise. But propaganda is ridiculously effective on Americans, more than it really should be, so much so it feels like the propagandists have gotten kinda lazy with it because they know they don't have to put enough effort it.
I don't think propaganda would work this well if the population wasn't actively buying into it rather than just being passively exposed to it.
The more money you spend on propaganda the more effective it is.
Americans have unique material circumstances being benefactors of the imperial core and being completed isolated amongst other things.
