Well, he's old and gonna die. A few have tried to take his place, but failed. When he dies, support will likely crater and well take a big jump forwards globally. Its always two steps forward, one step back.

His support may alsonstart to crater if he loses this coming election. The voters will start to see the lack of emperors clothes. The sycophants whoncling on for gain, will see no gain and flit away to other grifts.
