After the massive forest fires in Bolivia, Brasil and Córdoba (Arg province) have caused a large part of Argentina to have ashen skies, now the incoming rains will catch all that smoke.

Milei aside, watching these forest fires grow...

across my lifetime has doomed me out. There was some tipping point when I realized every summer of my life is now covered in smoke, and it never really was when I was a kid.I moved away from the worst of it, only to have it blow in eventually even here. The locals were like "this is the first we've ever seen anything like this," and I'm just thinking "prepare yourself."
I'm surprised this doesn't cause more of a eco panic reaction in more people, because it's really unsettling when the air smells like fire.
