How is it irrelevant? I do not recognise "Israel"'s right to exist. I do not even recognise them as a nation. That is the general stance of this entire instance as well. They are Occupied Palestinian territory, that's all. It is not about "giving Israel's veganism rate to Palestine" it is about recognising the territory as being Palestinian.

A nation is defined by four characteristics:

Population - A settled population
Territory - A defined territory
Government - A government
Ability to relate to other states - The ability to conduct relations with other states on a sovereign basis

Israel does not have a defined territory. Their borders have never been officially established. Using guidelines used by the UN they are not a nation. Even four is debatable given how many countries they've attacked in the last 12 months alone.
