Cowboys are a victim of their own insane level of media exposure. The team owner shouldn't have a twice weekly radio spot. It's good for money in the short term, but it's terrible for long term scrutiny. He shouldn't be out there apologizing for every loss.
I actually want nothing more than an accountable owner. How is this a bad thing?
What does accountability look like to you? You can't fire the owner. Look at the Cleveland Browns. Would you trade for that? The guy who wanted to trade for Massage Watson?
There is zero accountability in the NFL. It's a playground for the team owners. Jerry Jones is consistently a little above average, is that really so terrible?
I think my team's owner Cal has done a good job with accountability to fans the past 4 years; Admitting change was needed and his mistakes and changing for the better. Fired Easterby, level set with Caserio, and brought back in fan favorites.
It's paying off.
I'm not saying I want them fired. Maybe transparency is what I meant not accountability now that I think about it
