The NFL filed a grievance against the NFL Players Association, asking the union to stop its annual team report cards and saying the exercise violates the collective bargaining agreement by airing public criticism of teams, according to documents obtained by ESPN.

The league claims the report cards, which poll players on various aspects of working conditions, violate a CBA clause that says NFL owners and the union must "use reasonable efforts to curtail public comments by club personnel or players which express criticism of any club, its coach, or its operation and policy," according to an August letter from the league's management council to NFLPA general counsel Tom DePaso that was obtained by ESPN.

This is an objective, unbiased ranking in the same vein as the NFL Title Belt. As such, the number 1 ranked team will always be the same as the current NFL Title Belt holder.

This is Divisional weekend of the NFL Title Rankings of the 2025 season. See here for last week's results.

There was only one game this weekend and the higher ranked team won.

The Falcons currently hold first and the NFL Title Belt. Because the Falcons did not make the playoffs, first place and the NFL Title Belt will remain with the Falcons. The Seahawks are ranked 3 and are the highest ranked team to make the playoffs. Because they won the Super Bowl, they will stay ranked 3.

The Colts lost to the Texans to fall to last. Because the Colts did not make the playoffs, last place will remain with the Colts.

Let me know if you’d like to see more of this, if you’re curious about how I came up with these rankings, or if you noticed any mistakes.

Ranking 2025 Conference Round Δ Notes
1 Falcons -- The Falcons will remain first until the next season.
2 Saints --
3 Seahawks --
4 Bucs --
5 Rams --
6 Panthers --
7 Patriots --
8 Texans --
9 Broncos --
10 Bills --
11 Jaguars --
12 Commanders --
13 49ers --
14 Eagles --
15 Steelers --
16 Ravens --
17 Browns --
18 Bengals --
19 Lions --
20 Bears --
21 Vikings --
22 Packers --
23 Chargers --
24 Giants --
25 Cowboys --
26 Dolphins --
27 Jets --
28 Cardinals --
29 Titans --
30 Raiders --
31 Chiefs --
32 Colts -- The Colts will remain last until the next season.

This ranking assumes that there are never any fluke games and all teams are appropriately ranked. If you beat a team that is higher ranked than you, you move ahead of them and they move down one spot. However, other teams can jump in front of teams that are higher ranked than you, moving you further down the rankings.

No games ended with the lower ranked team winning. The Patriots are the lowest ranked team to win their game.

The Falcons currently hold first and the NFL Title Belt. Because the Falcons did not make the playoffs, first place and the NFL Title Belt will remain with the Falcons. The Seahawks are ranked 3 and are the highest ranked team to make the playoffs. This means that the Super Bowl winner will end the post-season ranked 3.

The Colts lost to the Texans to fall to last. Because the Colts did not make the playoffs, last place will remain with the Colts.

While preliminary reports of the NFL show’s ratings indicate Bad Bunny drew the most live viewers of any Super Bowl halftime show in history, according to CBS News, with over 135 million, Turning Points USA, the late Charlie Kirk’s organization, celebrated just 6 million viewers across its various channels on Sunday night.

I was a sicko watching post game show on NFL network and their sideline reporter pressed Kubiak about the job and he finally relented. lol.

He must have been able to see in a monitor, because he kept looking up and just getting his eyebrows in the shot.

Congrats to DeMarcus and his big (soon to be bigger) family

Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots

For those looking for a new team to be featured or root for this isn't the superbowl for you. But there are stories to be found in this one. Two successful teams of the last two decades who finally moved on from their franchise-defining and aging coaches and QBs. One team went with a young QB while another found success with a veteran journeyman. The team with the young QB find themselves in a familiar situation from 2 decades ago - a 2nd chance coach with a 2nd year QB who ends up unexpectedly in the superbowl. And won. Can the lightening strike twice for this franchise?

Then there's the story of that veteran journeyman. A former high 1st round pick who was written off as washed. That he was seeing ghosts. Moving from team to team, his value being seen as adding another voice in the QB room and emergency backup. An unfortunate injury brought him an opportunity to start again late in his career and found success. Perhaps he's found a home, only to find himself packing again at the end of the season for yet another city. This next stop surpassed everyone's expectations as he reaches the superbowl. Will winning complete his redemption arc? Or is getting there enough for his story.

His new team has its own baggage. Of ghosts on the one yard line. And a familiar foe. will they slay their ghosts together. Or will those dark spirits triumph again come sunday evening.

In an email from April 26, 2013, Tisch asked Epstein if he knew anything about a “very sweet girl” who he met at Epstein’s house earlier that week. Epstein replied that he will “get all info” on her and asked if Tisch had contacted another woman, who Epstein described in crude detail. Epstein told Tisch, “I am happy to have you as a new but obviosly (sic) shared interest friend.”

I've been completely out of touch with all things NFL since just before Christmas. I feel like watching a few games and was hoping to get some spoiler free recommendations.

More looking for good matchups and interesting games rather than any particular team.

Cheers!

The Seattle Seahawks will go up for sale after Super Bowl LX, league and ownership sources familiar with the arrangement told ESPN, ending years of questions about when the team would seek new ownership following the 2018 death of former owner Paul G. Allen.

Sale discussions have taken place at ownership and league levels for at least the past week, the sources said.

Bill Belichick, the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach, is not a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

In voting earlier this month, Belichick fell short of the 40 out of 50 votes needed for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame during his first year of eligibility, four sources with firsthand knowledge of the outcome told ESPN. Belichick received a call from a Hall representative last Friday afternoon with the news that he won't be inducted into the Hall in Canton, Ohio, this summer.

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to promote offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Brady is expected to sign a five-year deal, sources told Schefter.

Brady replaces Sean McDermott, who was fired last week after the Bills were eliminated by the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs. McDermott had spent nine seasons as head coach in Buffalo.

Brady, 35, is coming off his second full season as Buffalo's OC after taking over the role in an interim capacity during the 2023 season after Ken Dorsey was was fired.
