Haze's ammo scales with spirit power?!

Yep, that's why pretty much all haze builds will purchase Ammo Scavenger. Each time you shoot a spirit orb you get two ammo back, one that the item gives you, and another because of the spirit power increase it gives you.

I noticed Yamato has the same thing. Same trick should work?

Yep, although her ammo scales slower so you get any extra shot every other soul orb.
