Hey everyone,

I've been a Wobbly (iu620) for about 10 years. I was active on Reddit until a stranger DM'ed me with personally identifiable info (for me), so I deleted my account, made a new one, and now I don't post there much.

I figured I'd try Lemmy, too. So, hello comrades!

👋 Lemmy is still very small compared to Reddit. I haven’t done the research, but maybe 1% as many active users, if I had to guess. I only say this to set expectations.

1% is still way too high. Reddit has perhaps a couple of hundred million monthly active users. Lemmy has about 45 thousand monthly active users.
