It's basically a boring reality tv show that they have to advertise everywhere to pump up viewership numbers.
The branches of the US government exist to pass defense budget bills, they might as well go home after.
Hey dont forget funding the CIA... that important too
Even if they didn't, the CIA could probably still fund itself just off all the drugs it trafficks.
