Ah yes. Nothing runs a game quite like having options
fucking embarassing takes from fans of a game that secretly gender swapped chracters in multiple installments intentionally to get a message to them that assigned gender at birth really doesn't matter. these dipshits think the small independent game studio being bought by a big megacorporation will turn the small org woke? laughable. from software has always been woke if you had any media literacy at all. no megacorporation is or can be woke. there are reasons to be sad about this (art works best when made from passion, not from being told how to make it by shareholders), but these fascistic fucks are butthurt for all the worst reasons
From software is no small nor independant tho. They have 400+ employees and are owned by Kadowaka since like 10+ years
yeah i felt i was using that term a little too loosely. they were sort of in a mid size studio position that defies categorization. just like so many things in the modern world, we're slowly shifting into a place where there is no more of this middle class of studio. it's all megacorps and solo devs.
Imagine learning about Marika/Radagon and not getting the whole 2 souls 1 body gender issues
