Agreed. My point was about the process. I am saying she signed off on a lucrative grift. But it makes her a grifter rather than a crypto sis. I would call her a crypto sis if she endorsed the technology. But I am sure she is clueless about it.

But it makes her a grifter rather than a crypto sis

Crypto bros are first and foremost scammers who happen to specialize in that particular kind of scam. Whether they understand the underlying technology or not doesn't matter, the same way someone who pays a killer to shoot someone is a murderer even if they know nothing about firearms.

She may be clueless about blockchains but she ain't clueless about padding her bank account with suckers' money.

You are right about the fact that almost all crypto peddlers don't understand the underlying technology. But what makes them crypto bros is that they peddle the technology regardless of their lack of comprehension. Melania does not do that which is why I made that differentiation.

This has veered into the territory of not very important stuff though haha

The thing is, it's not like selling sketchy things is out of character for Melania. So she doesn't lend herself to the benefit of the doubt here.

Yeah that's why I called her a grifter repeatedly

That sounds sexist as well...

Assuming that a middle aged person with no known tech background does not know what a blockchain is is sexist? Please explain why.

Partly is because the way you said it seemed like you wouldn't have used the same words if it was a middle aged man, part is because it seemed to imply that she couldn't understand this even if she tried to, while again making no mention of the men not being able to understand it, and if anything, assuming they do understand it, at least better than her.

How would one express a similar sentiment in a non sexist way?

Agreed. My point was about the process. I am saying she signed off on a lucrative grift. But it makes her a grifter rather than a crypto sis. I would call her a crypto sis if she endorsed the technology. But rich people only care about money and not the technology.

Saying something like that instead, pehaps
