Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

Why are the American people so …weak?
In another month, Americans will have non ability to mobilize and fight the Dictatorship that is almost fully installed.
Meanwhile, Americans upvote FB crap thinking that does something.
Losers. All of them.
Talking for decades about how special they are. How free. How they stand against tyranny.
Laugh My Fucking Ass Off!
Heil Trump.
Americans are ENEMIES of freedom now.
I get your frustration but we’re all on the same side here. As an American millennial it’s been sad to see that a lot of Americans are brainwashed. This isn’t the country I grew up in.
To me it feels exactly like the country I grew up in. These fuckheads have been working their way toward this for a long time. Every presidential race I have ever voted in was a vote to save democracy. A vote against a worse candidate. They have just kept pushing and pushing until they could get enough people that were jaded with the current system of bureaucracy, red tape, and status quo to justify getting onboard with their hate in order to create real change. The problem is that due to decades of discouraging and dismantling education, as well as encouraging ultra-consumerist greed and self-centered narcissism, this is not the kind of change that will benefit anyone except the oligarchy. The mass of idiots are just too deluded to realize it. Even if they do, the very American attitude of never admitting you are wrong leads to them doubling down in service to Dear Leader.
