Oh, that's interesting that it embedded the video. I've never seen an embedded video on Lemmy before.
For me if you add an exclamation mark first it will embed videos or images so use:
! [ ] (yourlinkhere)
Just remove the spaces, like this -
Doesn't seem to matter about how you enter it, it's the video source.
Is it? This is without a !
And with the square brackets filled without the !
