The only asterisk I would add to this is that there are certain limits to interoperability (sorry about the @s for example I need to remember to manually delete them) so it requires patience and willingness to deal with that. Also for example I can't title posts, am subject to my instance's character limit, and can't see your emojis or images without going offsite. But as a rather ML leaning, Chapo enjoying former member of DSA and the Fraternal Order of Saint Bernard I am happy to say hi here

But also somewhat tempted to make an alt and not have to deal with the annoyances. My laziness and lack of desire for a billion accounts has thusfar stopped me
