So, I just came across the real, working model of a functional #degrowth economy, using negative interest rates as a key driver.

This is really happening in Spain!

And could be replicated anywhere.

Super interesting.

Based on the text I would not consider it a functional degrowth economy. What they have so far is the payment system, and some promising emerging use for it. But a great initiative and a great read anyway.

I think I meant more that it was implemented and actually had throughput, as opposed to being theoretical, though of course not a complete closed economy.
