Panel 4: Same view, but one of the smiling faces begins to float upward—it's a balloon. Panel 5: The man panics and runs after the escaping balloon as it's revealed that all his “guests” are just balloons with drawn-on faces.
Hopefully there is a little bit of water in those balloons, being near fire and all
