I just spent three leisurely hours in the kitchen making a Sunday roast: roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower & gravy. I quite like relaxed cooking with Planet Rock on the background.

I found myself wondering if people still do this. Did you make a roasttoday, and if you did, what did you cook?

Nope. We generally have more of them over winter than the warmer weather as the last thing I want to do is be in a hot kitchen for a few hours when it's already hot. That said, it's nice to cook a roast while I'm watching the F1.

Yesterday I made hunters chicken in a home made BBQ sauce, with mash, carrots, peas, sweetcorn & onion rings. Went down well!
