Probably 10 to 12 years ago. Don't miss it but I did have a lot of fun when I did go out clubbing in uni. The music is always meh, the drinks overpriced, the men overly aggressive and it's impossible to talk to each other.

I still love going to dance music gigs though, which while on paper should be the same, they're very different.

Thanks. I'm never quite sure what to believe on these schemes, they sound good and have all the right aims but I can never be sure if the complaints against them are just locals that will moan no matter what, or if there's genuine issues that the local authorities just try to suppress because they want to implement the scheme no matter what.

I dunno what your situation is, but would cycling that previous 7 minute journey be an option? I guess that's what the scheme tries to promote but understand it's not always practical.

Ah, I didn't know that! What if it's for a crime that's not a crime in Canada?

That's absolutely crazy! Insane that the land can just "slip" like that. Imagine how much pressure must have been building for the plate to finally move.

It seems absolutely insane to me that people have to pay. I was annoyed at having to pay £10 for the car park when we had our first!

Same! Pretty chill morning (it is for me anyway) music.

I don't think judges are issuing sentences that reflect the capacity of the prison system. The prison system is having to release prisonors early to accommodate people who have been recently sentenced.

The crime stats are trending down overall as a % (with a few notable exceptions recently), but our population is growing. I imagine the prison system is just one of the many areas that have been neglected over the years and hasn't scaled up inline with population growth.

I don’t think 100% of the people in prison right now are a serious threat to the public Agree with this though, the JSO protestors definitetly come to mind.

A few months later: Blow to Rachel Reaves as economy shrunk by 0.1% in the previous three months.
