I don't know what I should tell him honestly. Like, sure man the media is lying about a lot things especially Ukraine but... I mean they are being invaded. He said everyone is working and living their lives. Like, dude what did you expect?? Yeah civils will still live their lives, reality didn't just become some video game where everybody shoots 40 enemies before lunch. Yeah if you're far enough you're not going to get bombed... I guess? And like, you're not Ukrainian but if you were they would probably have got you enlisted to go fight, your experience would've been radically different...

He was always a wierdo crypto-rightwing bro so I don't even know what he's trying to say here. Like, he could totally be accused of shilling for Russia. Saying western media is lying in a country where the government are pro-west extremists, denying that the war is a big thing to a martial law nationalist regime is kind of insane.

Oh, and, he wants to move there now
