Anarchism is a social movement that seeks liberation from oppressive systems of control including but not limited to the state, capitalism, racism, sexism, speciesism, and religion. Anarchists advocate a self-managed, classless, stateless society without borders, bosses, or rulers where everyone takes collective responsibility for the health and prosperity of themselves and the environment.

Valeriano Orobón Fernández, born on this day in 1901, was a Spanish anarcho-syndicalist theoretician, trade union activist, translator, and poet who wrote the lyrics of the revolutionary song "A Las Barricadas".

Orobón believed in the organizational power of unions, believe that they would have a major role in reorganizing society in a more libertarian fashion. Orobón was also strongly opposed to the communist (i.e., Soviet) ideas in Spain during the Spanish Civil War.

Shortly before his untimely death from tuberculosis, Orobón wrote the words of "A Las Barricadas" to the tune of "Warszawianka 1905 roku", itself a well-known Polish revolutionary song. The anti-fascist tune became the anthem of the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT), and one of the most popular songs of the Spanish anarchists during the Civil War.

I played the bee movie game (Wii) as a substitute for watching the movie, I think it works but the game is

spoileractually a coninuation of the movie. You manage to kill the opposing lawyer at the end by collectivizing as bees do you also set about fixing the ecosystem

Nice. I took my cousin's kid to the arcade today and got my ass kicked at air hockey by a nine year old.

Sweetness, the only air hockey table in town I know of is in the bowling alley. There is a rush playing something so simple, no need to feel bad at losing the youth simply are faster

When I was a kid my grandparents got my sister and I a really nice table. I got so good only like two of my dad's friends would even play against me. It's such a great game and unlike the aforementioned airhockey there is a ton of strategy and meta in it. Back passing, goalie positioning and angle (if you leave your back line just pointing straight down a sufficient power shot could blow through them if you aren't holding onto the stick), ball control is also much more deliberate than smacking a puck around as fast as you can, takes finesse. Nothing more satisfying than catching the ball, passing it sideways into a power shot before they can even reposition their goalie.

Also doubles foosball is one of the greatest party games of all time.

waow-based like with everything I do I just relied on instinct and reflexes to get by no idea there was a meta
