That part where the kid gets told to go to bed kinda creeps me out. The reason is it sounds like they're trying to strawman (among various other strawmen in that specific tract alone) people who criticize fundies for supporting actual child abuse as being ridiculous. Of course, that's far from the creepiest thing in Chick Tracts, such as the justification for the Palestinian genocide that you mentioned.

A talk about the horrors of Chick Tracts isn't complete without talking about the most infamous one of all:

My upbringing had slightly more nuance. It was like, believing in God gets you into heaven, but if you really believe then you'll do good works as well. It's not the good works that get you to heaven, but without them are you really saved? Then again, most of the people who preached this were pretty devoid of many good works, but ah well.
