I’m sure they’ll come up with other reasons, but the kind of fundamental economic change he is trying to bring about takes a lot longer than 4 years. I think this will be one of their major selling points for Trump 2028.

If he lives that long, that is.

I think he'll just declare a national emergency on immigration or drugs or crime or something and suspend elections until it's resolved.

The nytimes will post an equivocating infographic about the advantages and disadvantages of tackling drugs and crime
